My first day at NHC

Yup - you read that right.  I went to CHURCH on Sunday!

Okay - Taira has attended church a couple of times after spending Saturday nights wtih Kyle and Kyle’s kids and one weekend when she stayed with Kathy.  She always has fun and has been asking if we can go to church since then.

So I accepted an invitation first to attend the NHC Block Party at the church on Saturday night.  They had bounce houses, a Cha-Cha slide contest (y’know I had to dance!), an Electric Slide Contest, music - no not hymns and choir music.  Regular music - like SUGARLAND, RASCAL FLATTS and such.  Then we watched Night at the Museum on a giant screen.  It was like a big tailgate party.  We cooked on the grill and hung out and snacked and just had a good time.  YES - we had fun!

So Sunday - I decided that we would come back for Sunday service.  So we did.  First off - when you walk into the lobby - there is free coffee and biscotti.  Now if you want to motivate people to come to church Sunday morning - Free coffee and biscotti is the way! LOL!

So I picked up my free Bible at Guest Central, signed Taira up and sent her on her way to Uhambo (the kids ’service) and fellowshipped with the crowd until Countdown was over.

COUNTDOWN? You ask.  Yup - right above the auditorium door is a big countdown clock.  Like New Year’s Eve!!!

You enter the auditorium - there are no pews.  There are rows of chairs.  There’s a big stage with CONCERT LIGHTING and THREE big screens…one behind center stage and one each on either side of the stage walls.  So countdown gets to zero….and then the music starts.  Rock and roll music - a live band of drums, electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards.  GREAT music - of course with words of praise….but easy listenin’ clap your hands, tap your feet and rock a little music!  Don’t ask me why- but I felt like I wanted to cry!

After three songs of praise and a prayer - out comes the pastor on stage. Begin with a prayer (and why again -  I don’t know but I felt like I wanted to cry!)  Then he jumps into the message of Obeying God.  You can’t do God’s thing your way ….you have to do God’s thing…God’s way.  See in the Bible - God tells you what you have to do to be followers of Jesus Christ.  (Let’s reference 2nd Kings Chapter 5 and don’t ask why I can remember that right now!)  And after referencing 2 Kings 5 and relating that story to stopping short of obeying God by failing to follow God’s command.  GET BAPTIZED.  Yes - that’s right. you stop your progress of worshipping and don’t truly allow yourself to open up to worshipping and accepting Jesus Christ….you need to get Baptized because that is God’s command!  Will I……………………..time will tell.

Okay - anyway…..(yup that’s how serious I was paying attention) so after the message - that was it.  Service was over.  I went and got Taira - who obviously once again had a GREAT time in Uhambo and I also picked up a gift bag of a muffin and a coffee mug (insulated) plus a welcome packet from the church.  Then it was off to finish my day.

Believe it or not - I am considerring starting every Sunday with church service at NHC.  It is a non-denominational church.  You feel totally comfortable - you come as you are (jeans, t-shirt, shorts, whatever) and you feel welcome.  No pressure…no drama…no worries!

Anyway- just wanted to share that with you! If you want to take a closer look - go ahead.  www.encounternhc.com No - I’m not trying to pressure you to go to church.  Just sharing the experience that I, of all people, went to and am probably going to continue going to….church and SURVIVED.  And yes…I’m considerring making some changes.  Because maybe if I embrace this….I’ll find my way through all this drama in my life.

We went to DISNEYWORLD

So we arrive Sunday after a long ride that included a 2 hour stop at Wal-Mart in Georgia for room grub and a bathing suit for me (J).  Settle in at our SPACIOUS room at Shades of Green (the military resort in Disney) and rest up for our fun-filled week of Disney FUN!  Michelle and I go get Taira and my tickets to the parks for the week while Allison and Alyssa take Taira to ride the Monorail around all the Disney parks for fun.  (Easy entertainment! LOL!)

Okay- below is a run-down of where we went each day and the main attractions of the day!

MONDAY – EPCOT

Walk across to the Polynesian Resort and jump on the monorail to Epcot.   We must be there before the gates open so that we can run like we are being chased by a mad cow to get the proper Fast Passes and hit the main attractions BEFORE the huge lines.

  • A brief summary  of a Fast Pass. Main rides and attractions  have LONG LONG LONG lines.  However, you can go to a little ticket center adjacent to the ride and put your Disney ticket  into the machine, at which point it will spit you out a Fast pass ticket with a return time to come back and go through the Fast Pass line….where you get to bypass the long long long line (and have people give you funny looks wondering why YOU get to go right past them – even though Fast Passes are available to EVERYONE and advertised by Disney!  HELLO PEOPLE – RESEARCH!)  Anyway, sometimes the stand-by line won’t be too long.  So you get a Fast Pass anyway, go stand in the stand-by line and ride and then you can come back later when the line IS long and go through the Fast Pass line past the long line.  The little known fact about Fast Passes is that if you miss the time on the Fast Pass ticket (it’s usually an hour window of time) you can still come back after that time and go through the Fast Pass line.  People think if the time is over you have to go get a new ticket for the next window of time….but you don’t.  They will just say something silly like “we have been waiting for you…” or “my my my aren’t we late?” but you STILL get to go through the line.

Okay – so let us start the day in the wonderful world of Disney’s Epcot  (the park with the huge ball with the Mickey hand next to it).

  • Mission Space – Okay can we say nausea  but that was cool as hell.  This ride is not recommended for people with heart problems, prone to motion sickness…yatta yatta yatta.  They say that so much before the ride you are almost scared to ride it! LOL!  Might as well send me to space cuz that’s what it felt like.  We went all the way to MARS! LOL!  You and 3 others enter your “ship” and strap in where you are looking out of a window.  Starts with a shuttle launch, then you break the atmosphere and are floating in space.  We get put in hypersleep for 3 months (more like 30 seconds) and wake up to a turbulent asteroid shower.  Navigate through, fly to and land on Mars – a few evasive maneuvers as you land the ship and then teeter on the edge of a cliff and then - - - all is well.  Congratulations we made it!  I really was expecting the whole re-entry back to earth’s atmosphere with the spinning and all - - - but it ends on Mars.
  • Soarin – Okay this was cool!  You sit in a row of like 6 in a chair that actually elevates over this HUGE screen and it feels like you are flying! Like you are hang-gliding over REAL places.  If you are afraid of heights – don’t go!
  • Lunch in the pavilion there outside of the Soarin’ ride.  I had Chinese…cuz well…I love Chinese!  I had the best of all the lunches!!!!
  • The Seas with Nemo and Friends – Under the sea…you know!  A neat little musical with black-lighted puppets and special effects (like mist and fog and such).
  • Turtle Talk with Crush – totally interactive chat with that cool sea turtle from Finding Nemo.  DUDE!  Y’know I love Crush anyway!  Just idle chit-chat with Crush as he talks to REAL members of the audience.  How do they do that?  LOL!  Modern technology!
  • Imagination with Figment – Cute.  Michelle LOVE’S Figment!  A little ride through the Institute with Figment taking over the show!   I smell a skunk….
  • Spaceship Earth (in the ball) – Cool little ride through the evolution of earth and man right there in the ball of Epcot!
  • On to the World Showcase to walk through the countries.  This was no biggee for me – I am no stranger to travel.  Ha ha!  But great for pictures!  The kids put on hats and props in the country souvenier stores for Michelle’s picture taking fettish to be satisfied! LOL!  But I remember…
    • Boat in Norway was cool!  Little trip over the seas – ya!
    • Burger in America – it was good!  So American!

* Okay- we had a mishap early in the day with Michelle’s camera nearly at the start of our day so we went to Wal-Mart and bought a new one (much to her dismay—-NOT!) and found GREAT deals on Disney shirts (much better than at the park – SAME SHIRTS).   The kids went to the pool t the resort!  It was our mommy time away from the kids!

TUESDAY – MGM

UP UP UP at the crack of dawn again.  Today we drive instead of take the monorail and the bus.  So it’s on to the park with Mickey’s Magic Wizard hat!  Okay – we’re at the gates and we rush in so Taira and I can get right over to the Rock n’ Roller Coaster – and there’s this big “Hollywood Production” skit once we get in that we had to wait through.  Cute – but I WANNA RIDE THE ROLLER COASTER!  LOL!  Taira and I were the only ones riding this one today…. So off we went!

  • Rock n’ Roller Coaster – Can we say upside down and cool as hell.  We jump in a stretch limo to get to the show with Aerosmith and they are already running late so we gotta get there in a hurry!  So jump in, strap up and off we go!  That G-Force frickin’ take off was cool! 0-60 in THREE seconds! And then it’s in the dark with a few light up signs and such and you go upside down – really cool!  I sang Dude Looks Like a Lady the whole time!  Taira was nervous at first – but after the ride she said it was COOL BABY!   I’m glad we knocked this out Tuesday – because by Friday I heard the ride was shut down for technical difficulties.  Y’know – roller coasters are cool – but you can’t help but think “Final Destination 3″ every time you get on one (for those of you who have seen that movie!)
  • Tower of Terror –Jump in the elevator for a trip through the hotel – where suddenly our elevator isn’t working so great!~ Can we say nausea again?  Up – down – up- down AAaaaaaaaaaaaaah!   But still – FUN!
  • Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage.  You KNOW I love Beauty and the Beast.  Can we say sing along?  Nothing else to say there!
  • The Great Movie Ride –Just a little ride through some of the greatest movies ever seen when suddenly – our driver becomes part of the set and we are right in the middle of the show.  This was cool and I decided that I should be part of that ride cuz I’m a far better actress!
  • Muppet Vision 3-D – Okay I love 3-D.  And the Muppets.  Need I say more?  Has you REACHING OUT TO TOUCH things!
  • In the park we had lunch at Toy Story Pizza Planet – Yummy pizza!  That’s all.

We headed back to the room early because it looked like (and they were calling for)…some severe weather brewing.  When we came out of the Great Movie Ride (or was it Muppet Vision?  Don’t remember…) it had rained so we got a Churro for me (not as good as I remember) a Pretzel for Alyssa and of course – SPRITE and decided to head out.  (Just wanted to add I felt sorry for the guy that was there at the snack stand.  His calculator stopped working, his line was long, he was so stressed out and wasn’t good at math!  I would have stayed to help him…but I wasn’t getting paid! LOL!  Anyway – it was shortly after that that the sky was dark and the wind was blowing that we headed out.

Of course we got back to the resort and then the weather cleared up.   So Taira and Allison went to the pool, Alyssa decided to take a teen-nap and Michelle went down to the store and stopped by the pool.  She called me to bring down some wine to the pool cuz she said it was nice.  So off I went, wine in hand,  down to hang out for a few minutes to watch Taira and her pool pals and sip.  Michelle and I headed back up to the room - - where Alyssa was STILL sleeping.  The girls came back up shortly after, we woke Sleeping Beauty and headed to have a buffet dinner at a restaurant right in the resort. It was good – not great but good enough.

WENDESDAY – MAGIC KINGDOM

OKAY – this is slated to be the busiest and longest of our days at Disney.  It started with a that “being chased by a mad cow” dash after one of those skits with the Disney characters before they turned the crowds loose through the park.  Okay Michelle had Taira by the hand when we walked into the Main Streets of Disney when the park opened and even though we were in a hurry – Taira saw the castle and was like “woooooooooooooooaaaah” and After all it was - - - the REAL castle of Cinderella!

  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh –After walking through the gates at the speed of being chased by a mad cow – Michelle’s vigilance pays off when we won DREAM FAST PASSES at the end.  We jump off and the lady is all “Congratulations” (and I’m thinking – wow – she’s congratulating us for finishing the WINNIE THE POOH ride!)  Then she says “Step this way – you are winners” and we walk into the gift shop and they reward us with the Dream Fast Passes. Okay – this is a neat little keepsake Dream Come True Plastic card on a neck card with Fast Pass tabs (remember we talked about Fast Passes) to all the main and most popular rides in the park. So now we don’t even have to go GET the Fast Passes like we were going to be rushing around doing.  But we would get a few anyway- because some rides MUST be ridden MORE than once!   Michelle got all “tingly” with excitement afterwards.  I’ve never seen Michelle tingly with excitement – but apparently that’s what will get it at Disney. Let the day go much smoother.  On with the day! (Though there would be several moments of basking in our Dream Fast Pass glow).
  • It’s a Small World – okay- a painful trip on a boat through all the countries with appropriately dressed little people all entertaining us to a song you will forever hear in your nightmares! “It’s a small world after-all……” aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!  This ride could be a LITTLE shorter…ya think?
  • Peter Pan’s Flight – Very cool little Flight in Peter Pan’s ship over the scenes!  Neat
  • Splash Mountain – The laughin’ spot.  Hell yeah!  That was cool! A trip through the story of Brer Rabbit that ends with a splash!
  • Space Mountain  - Okay- THAT was cool.  A roller coaster in the near dark that glows with black lights and a backdrop of stars and asteroids flying over head!  Whips right and left and dips and dives and……can we do it again (Stay tuned!)
  • Buzz Light Year’s Space Ranger Spin –A little trip with you and a partner (me and Allison by Allsion’s choice cuz she knows I can shoot) where you are helping defeat the evil Emperor Zerg by shooting at the Z’s. I got like 173,000 points!  I ROCK!
  • Pirate’s of the Carribean – Okay- can fake characters look more real.  Jack Sparrow might as well have been there!  Why must the rum always be gone?
  • Big Thunder Railroad – Cool.  A railroad roller coaster of fun.   Let’s do that again! (Stayed tuned!)
  • Disney World Railroad – Choo Choo around Disney.  Neat.  But can we say – hire people you can UNDERSTAND over the intercom!
  • TOONTOWN – Here we saw and took pictues with Mickey, Pluto, Snow White, Chip & Dale, Goofy.  Saw the inside of Mickey’s house,  but decided that Minnie’s house was much neater!
  • Mickey’s PhilarMagic show – 3-D – I love 3-D (Did I mention that already?) See what happens when Donald fumbles the show!
  • The Jungle Cruise Just a little boat ride through the jungle with fake animals and a guide who cracks corny jokes.  – I need to work this ride – cuz I’m far better than the guy who drove our boat for sure!  Funnier, too!
  • Snow White’s Scary Adventures – Oooh – so scary! A black light ride through the scenes of Snow White!
  • Stitch’s Great Escape – okay Michelle doesn’t like this and sat this one out.  What a waste of a Dream Fast Pass ha ha.  (Cuz she didn’t use hers!).  But I thought it was so cute to have Stitch jumping up and down on my shoulders, playing in my hair and spitting on me.  Devious little alien! LOL!

Back to the room for a break and a nap cuz we’re going BACK later.  We order Pizza from room service that was PRETTY DARNED GOOD.  Yay Michelle for thinking of that!  Now – back to our program!!!

  • Space Mountain AGAIN……… TWICE!!!  It IS different depending on which line you get in!  Left side is better!!!!
  • The People Mover – or whatever you call it now.  Just a nice relaxing trip around Future World.  That’s all!
  • Cinderella’s Castle – Fireworks – get a good spot that’s for sure!  Neat – I liked watching a real life Tinkerbell ride the Zip line from the top of the castle to somewhere else in Disney before the fireworks began!
  • Dreams Come True Parade started at 11:00PM.  Got a funnel cake while I waited.  Kids were about asleep on the side of the street waiting.  But then it was all bright and lit up and neat and then finally………….OVER!  I am wore out!  Let’s go back to the room.  It was so cute – like a Disney commercial as Alyssa carried her little sister Taira to the room sleeping over her shoulder. Awwwwwwwwwwwww!

THURSDAY – DOWNTOWN DISNEY

Okay – first we get to SLEEP IN today.  NO being chased by a mad cow after getting up at the butt crack of dawn today!  YAY!  But we have an appointment at Downtown Disney this afternoon at 1:00PM so we only get to be lazy for soooo long…then it’s into the car and off to Downtown Disney!  (Like the Disney MALL you could say!)

  • Bibbity Bobbity Boutique – The girls got their little Princess make-overs.  TOO CUTE  Taira getting primped and pampered.  She could definitely be a diva when she grows up!  She, Allison and Alyssa looked so cute all primped like Princesses and you know everyone had to notice how cute they were.  Cuz I know it’s mean – but not ALL of the kids that got made-over were cute! LOL!  We just got the basic – hair and make-up.  But for a whopping $175.00 you could have gotten hair, make-up, nails, a dress and a photo shoot.  I think we did good with just the hair and make-up for $35.00 .  Okay – but later we discovered I got over charged.  So after a few phone calls (cuz we were already on the way back to the room when I checked out he receipt because I had bought some other stuff, too for Princess Taira). ) the “management” decided that the Bibbity Bobbety Bitches owed me some money, but I would have to go all the way back to Downtown Disney to get the refund since I paid in cash. So stay tuned and we’ll go back to Downtown Disney later!
  • Earl of Sandwich was lunch.  Ummm….yummmm hot roasted sandwiches.  We sent the girls to order our sandwiches (I got Caribbean Jerk - yumm) and we went down by the water and ordered a Margarita.  We got the ULTIMATE Margaritas - $8.75 each and worth each and every penny we paid for them for sure.  They did NOT short us on liquor AT ALL!!!!  A two alcoholic beverage limit posted at the hut – and damn if two couldn’t knock you off your feet!!!!!
  • Browse the stores…buy some things…..

Okay so we go back to the room to chill for a bit and take a nap before dinner!  And then………….

  • Dinner with Cinderella at the Grand Floridian.

The Grand Floridian is a resort at Disney that has a wedding pavilion.  I want to get married at Disney (oh wait – I’m probably never getting married! HA HA!)  But it’s VERY NICE!  There was a bride and groom in the lobby as we waited for our table.  Awwww – how sweet!

The Fairy Godmother was outside of the restaurant for pictures.  Taira was AMAZED that the Fairy Godmother KNEW that she got her hair done at the Bibbety Bobbity Boutique without Taira even telling her. (See the Fairy Godmother OWNS the BBB!)  So – there were pictures with the Fairy Godmother of course.  The finally – our little vibrating pager thingy went off indicating our table was ready.

It was a buffet style dinner – here is what I REMEMBER eating (it was all so good….)

  •
    • Chilled Strawberry Soup – You have to like Strawberries but that was some GOOOOOOD stuff!
    • Sausage and Peppers
    • Chicken Marsala
    • Stuffed Salmon
    • Peel and eat shrimp – you KNOW I ate probably 3 pounds!!!
    • Salad
    • Rice Pilaf
    • Cookie with Ice Cream

Okay at this dinner, Cinderella, Prince Charming and the Mice (which were much bigger than I ever remember mice being!!!) walked around to the tables for pictures.  Taira was oh – so shy when Prince Charming came.  Like a little school girl with a crush!  But when Cinderella was approaching OH MY GOSH!  She had to go to the mirror and check her hair and her face and make sure she was cute.  Michelle took pictures of THAT and that was TOO CUTE!

FRIDAY – ANIMAL KINGDOM

Today we drive the car and head to Animal Kingdom.  Hang out in the Rainforest Café until the gates are open. What a neat place.  Time to go in….and the crowd really isn’t too bad.

  • Expedition Everest – Beware the Yetti!!!  Very cool roller coaster ride –especially going backwards and then being attacked by the YETTI himself!  I loved it.  Let’s do it again…stay tuned!!!!
  • Dinosaur – Okay this was cool.  So cool in fact that we did it TWICE in A ROW!  Travel back in time to see REAL (honest they were REAL) Dinosaurs, try to bring one back with us and survive the meteor hit!
  • It’s Tough to Be a Bug – the show.  Inside the very cool Tree of Life which has cool carvings of animals and such in it.  The show was  3-D – Okay THIS was cool and fun and I loved it right down to the end and I can’t tell you anymore because you just have to go and see this for yourself!
  • Maharaja Jungle Trek – yes TREK as in ON FOOT through a trail with animals on display!  But we saw BEAUTIFUL Tigers (which I love), Kimodo Dragons (boring), Giant Fruit Bats (bigger than any bats I’ve ever captured on my job) and such.  You ever seen a nekked Mole Rat?  They are completely blind with no fur and dig with their hind legs in the cutest little way.  Don’t know why- but them nekked little things were CUTE to me!  Saw snakes (whoopeeeee) and such!)
  • Pangani Forest Exploration Trail – another trail ON FOOT (my feet hurt!) where we can see the displays of live Hippos, Birds, Gorillas, Fish and such.
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris  - this was fun.  Beware the poachers and you ride in an off road vehicle (though nothing like my four wheeler) to see real Giraffes, Zebras, Ostrich, Antelope, Crocodiles and such!  That was fun.
  • Pizzafari – lunch – pizza – need I say more?
  • Expedition Everest - AGAIN!
  • Rainforest Café on the way out cuz Taira saw something in there she had to have that actually was quite useful.  A little school organizer with scissors and paper clips and a pencil holder and such.  Love it when she has to have a USEFUL toy.  And we bought misting spray fans 2 for $10.00.  Did you know that in the park ONE cost FIFTEEN dollars.  I guess you paid to have it full of ice water.  Glad we waited!!!!

Okay- we headed back to the room for a bit – then went and laid out by the pool while Taira swam.  Alison and Alyssa went to the Water Park while we were at the pool.  Taira REALLY wanted to go to the water park, too – but the girls needed a break away fromTaira and to be able to play without having to worry about watching a little one.  But five minutes in the pool and making friends she forgot ALL about the water park. LOL!

FINALLY a day to lay by the pool.  Michelle and I come equipped with our cooler of adult beverage fixins and those handy misting fans we got at the Rainforest Café!  I got a TAN.

Back to the room – let’s get dressed and head back to Downtown Disney again!  We’ll take the bus from the resort!  Let’s go get my money!!!

  • Back to the Boutique to get my refund and spend it right there in the Disney Store anyway.  Ha ha!
  • Rum Runner at the Margarita Bar this time.  YUMMMMM!  Again – worth every alcoholic penny!
  • Earl of Sandwich (Hawaiian Barbecue) for dinner.  YUMMM!
  • Browse the shops and head back to the room!  Start packing things.  Tomorrow – we go home!

SATURDAY – EPCOT (AGAIN)

Yep – it’s go home day.  Finish packing (Michelle was ON THE BALL loading the car) and then we are heading back to Epcot.  Michelle needs to get pictures since her camera had an unfortunate mishap Monday that resulted in her getting the NEW one at Wal-Mart.  So now we have to take more pictures here! LOL!  But we also didn’t get to ride Test Track Monday - - - so on with that….

It’s not very busy at Epcot today.  It’s Star Wars weekend at MGM - so everyone must be there.  Makes for a nice quiet time in Epcot - not so hectic!

  • Test Track –Yeah we missed it on Monday.  But that’s okay cuz we did it TWICE this time!  You get in a “test car” and we test out the elements of the road and conditions and such.   This was a RIDE?  Heck I drive my car like that all the time.  HA HA HA!  Evasive maneuvers and all that.  Loved the near head on with the truck and the SPEEEEEEEEED on the track.
  • Ellen’s Energy Adventure – Ellen learns about energy so she can win Jeopardy against Jamie Lee Curtis!  HA HA! Forty Five minutes long and Michelle took a nap cuz she’s seen it before.  But I love Ellen Degeneres (or Ellen the Generous as Taira called her! Lol).  Another ride through some Dinosaurs included.  Ever been in a MOVING virtual movie theater!  Did you know that Brain Power is the one source of energy that will never run out! LOL!
  • Fish n’ Chips – yumm.  Michelle had these on Monday but I decided to try it this time.   Yummy.  I’ll have it next time, too.

We found the ONE toy that Taira REALLY wanted all week at a pagoda in one of the countries.  A cool little light up rope thingy that I really can’t explain – but come play with it – it’s cool!  I grabbed a few last minutes at Mouse Gear on the way out – and then it was time to GO.

Hit the road for home a little after 2ish and got home around 1:00AM after all of our stops.  Michelle drove from the park into the dark and then I drove through the dark back into the country.

Did TAIRA have fun….well if you really want to know just ask her.  Sit down and get a drink! LOL!

Did I have fun……..YES!  How often do I get a REAL vacation with no worries for work or home or animals to take care of????

I missed my animals though!  But there was so much work to be done when I got back.  We got up – I went to Food Lion and bought some laundry detergent (because Quinard used the rest of it while we were gone-surprise) and breakfast stuff and of course cake mix so Alyssa could bake us a cake.  Then got back – threw some laundry in and Michelle and I headed to Lillington to pick up Ringo and Neela from Belinda’s and then Stitch from Bruce’s.  I missed my puppies and I think they missed me!  Neela tried to ride in Michelle’s lap the whole way home. LOL!  Not the same little shy dog I took in months ago!  Awwwww!

I was exhausted and came back with a little Florida cold – no doubt from all the germs in the public restrooms and such in the parks – but it didn’t start kicking in until Friday and it’s not so bad.  Bought a few soveniers, but didn’t spend TOO TOO much.  So pat myself on the back.  Taira’s rule was ONE thing a day per park.  She got a few little extras compliments of me…but she was not too greedy.  I got a few trinkets for a few folks and would have loved to have brought EVERYONE back something – but have you SEEN the prices in the parks.  LOL!  But there are a Gazillion - BAZILLION pictures.  Stay tuned.  I intend to use Windows Movie Maker and make a slide show with music like my Myrtle Beach trip and the horse movies.  So I’ll let you know when THAT is done.

BACK TO WORK FOR ME …and do you know where Taira is?  At THE BEACH with Michelle.  Ain’t that something!  She is SOOOO spoiled!  LOL!

(Verse 1)
(Duplicate of P.Diddy’s original verse wiht minor change)
What yall wanna do?
Wanna be ballers? shot-callers? Brawlers?
Who be dippin in the benz wit the spoilers
On the low from the jake in the taurus
Tryin to get my hands on some grants like Horace
Yeah livin the raw deal, three course meals
Spaghetti, fettucini, and veal
But still, everythings real in the field
And what you can’t have now, leave in your will
But don’t knock me for tryin to bury
Seven zeros, over in rio dijanery
Aint nobodys hero, but I wanna be heard
On your hot 9-7 everyday, thats my word
Swimmin’ in the pool at my own condiminium
Five plus fives,  I drive millineums
Its all about the benjamins, what?

(Repeat Chorus)

(Verse 2)

Ya can’t take the cash
So up with the Man yo

If ya don’t give - ya miss on the Blessin

Pocket Full of Sunshine
(rap added to song performed by Natasha Beddingfield)
Rap created for song for Storm Watch Series

A storm rolls in
What do I do

I wonder how

I’ll  make it through
My world gets dark
The thunder rolls
My life feels so
Out of control
Please take me God
So far away
Oh please find me
A better day
I turn to you
And there I find
My pocket’s full
Of your sunshine

Let the Praises Ring

(rap added to song performed by Lincoln Brewster)
I was lost
You found my heart
You cleaned me up
I got a brand new start
Lost in the dark
But now I’m in your light
Now things have never
Felt so right
You washed
away my every sin
From here is where
My life begins
My Lord My God
What do I do
Everything that I have
I found in you
I swear
Your wonders Never cease
My God how you give me
hope and peace
My God you are
My everything
C’mon everybody
Let the Praises Ring

JESUS YOU MAKE ME BETTER
Remade to You Make Me Better by Neyo/Fabolous

(Main chorus - performed by singer)

I’m a movement by myself

But I’m a force when we’re together
Jesus I’m good all by myself
But Jesus you - you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better
you make me better

Rap Verse 1
I was big game
I had it goin’ on
Lived a sinful life
And Yeah -I never saw the wrong
I was big baler bossing, all the time flossing
Caught up in the life that I was already lost in
Yeah yea…  yak put me up in my A game
w-w-w-  while giving Glory to your name
They, they, they, they, they may flame
Bu, Bu, Bu, but Jesus we burn it up
the sag in my swag
the pep in my step
Devil tries to seduce me Jesus intercepts
That’s just a G thing whenever we swing
Don’t need nobody else – cut Jesus He is THE King

(Repeat song chorus)

Verse 2
First thing’s first the God’s what i do
Everything I am He’s my influ
I’m already boss, I’m already fly
If i’m a star He is the sky
Ah,Ah,Ah, And when i feel like I’m on top
He, He, He, He give me reason to not stop
Eh, Eh, Eh,Eh, Eh, and though I’m hot
T-T-T- Together we burn it up
I was messed up, but He took me in
When all was said and done…Glroy to Him
He cleansed me of the wrong…he made me all good
Now I’m sittin’ on the top – like Tiger Woods
Eh,Eh,eh, and when I feel like I’m tired
Ma,Ma,Ma, ma Jesus be taking me higher
Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah,Ah, I’m on fire
Bu, bu, bu, but Jesus raise me up

Give glory to God
He’s always got my back
He checks whereI go
He knows where I’m at
He rights all my wrong
So I’ll never slip
Shows me how to move that’s why I never trip
And Jesus His Word is so Major
Readin’ every page- jah
And you should give glory because He forgave ya
Prayin’ for anybody who hate da
The way that we praise Him up…What?

(Repeat chorus)

(Sing Out….)
I’m a movement by myself
But I’m a force when we’re together
Thought I was good all by myself

But Jesus you – you make me better!

Christmas Rap for O’Come All Ye Faithful (NHC)
(Verse 1)
Mary and Joseph
Tired and Worn
Looking for a place
For the child to be born
Not just any child, but The Miracle One
For the child that she carried
Was God’s own son
In Bethlehem
Only a manger they found
This would be the place
Where she laid down
And all of the Angels
Would soon rejoice
The Savior is born
Let us lift one voice!

(Verse 2)
Three Wise Men
They came from afar
How did they know?
They followed the star
That led them to Him
And that’s how they knew
That all that had been
Prophesized would be true
The Savior to all
Had come to this earth
One Holy night
Through a miracle birth
And they all bowed down
Before our King
And all the while
All the angels did sing!

My Baptism Poem turned Rap on the stage of NHC

For years I walked alone

Oh I was lost in this life

I realized all the wrong

But wasn’t searching for right

I walked a long broken path

A lifestyle tainted by sin

I didn’t shut Jesus out

But didn’t  invite him in

Until a day there came some friends

I know that He sent to me

To invite me to a place

And that was ”NHC”

Though I came as I was

I felt no guilt or no shame

And for the wrongs in my lfe

 No contempt and no blame

And there he came to my heart

And I was saved by a prayer

Saw I was never alone

For He had always been there

At first I stopped at the door

But I have finally walked in

Baptized – I am new

And now I’m worshipping Him
Who bore my sins on that cross

Who died so that I could live

Who’s wanting so much for me

That all my sins he forgives

And now he reigns in a place

One day that I hope to see

But in the meantime His love

Forever rains upon me!
