Blessings in everything!

It’s Monday - it hasn’t started out too great. Got some major business to do with God today. So without going into details please say a few prayers. A few situations have arisen that are causing me some stress and worry and brought back an old sad memory, too.
Not going to dwell on the bad stuff though. Praise God for the many Blessings He has provided.
Do you know when God has blessed you? People tend to think blessing means - money - love - something big. Do you take the small blessing for granted? Maybe even let them go unnoticed? For example…do you see HAVING lots of money as a blessing when you should see the ability to work and do the work that has made your efforts fruitful as the true blessing.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)
EVERY good and perfect gift. Do you know what a good and perfect gift is? Do you realize that EVERY gift is a good and perfect gift? A blessing could be anything and well…everything. Blessings are big…blessings are small…but they are all good and they are all perfect because they come from God! That we wake up in the morning, that we can hear our kids laughing, watch them playing, that we are able to work, that we can see, smell, hear, taste, breathe. Friends and family are blessings. Things people say to uplift us are blessings. The right text, e-mail or phone call from a friend or family member at the right time…that’s a blessing. Your talents are blessings. Your skills…abilities…your spiritual gifts. And even the painful things in your life are somehow meant to be a blessing. Somethinig that results from those things…will be a blessing.
Every day…even on the bad days…you need to Praise God for the Blessings. I praise him for the many blessings He has bestowed upon me. I used to take them for granted…but day by day I am starting to see the blessings in every little thing. So I challenge you my friends …find the blessing in EVERY thing…EVERY day. Even when it’s hard…you really can’t deny them now can you?
I’m blessed that you’re reading this! See there. How hard was that? Piece of cake.

Ever Day’s a Blessing
A gift from God himself
When we say we’re Blessed
We don’t mean monetary wealth
For every day’s a Blessing
When we awaken to the sun
Cuz He who is our Savior
Is He who sees it done.
Every day’s a Blessing
And so is every friend
Wether you see them every day
Or every now and then
Every day’s a Blessing
Even when the day is tough
For He will see you through it
And decide you’ve had enough
Every days a Blessing
Every laugh and every tear
He smiles down upon us
He wipes away our fear
Every days a Blessing
Every gifts a Blessing, too
For He’s blessed us each with one
And some with more than two
Every day’s a Blessing
And so is every word
But know the biggest Blessing
Is one not seen or heard
For every day’s a Blessing
And so is every night
For even when our eyes are closed
We are Blessed to see his light!
