The trouble with the web…

…is that sometimes the internet world can play tricks on us.   Just got a text that said “What’s going on with your blog.”  SO I come on here and log on…and I can find it.  I can click “View My Blog” and see my blog page.  I can see all my posts and archives and everything.  But YOU can’t.

If you just type the addy into the browser or try to search it…it is not existent.  Can’t be found. Yatta yatta.

So now I am in my own little world and I am the only one who can see me.  It’s lonely in here except for the voices.  (I know…you are jealous because the voices only talk to me!)

Hopefully they’ll let you back in.  But apparently right now….the voices want me all to themselves.  Is this what it means to be stuck in your own private little world and stuck in your own thoughts?  Scary….because I ain’t skeered!

Random thoughts in no particular order

I’m excited that this weekend is Daylight Savings Time.  Who knows what time I’ll be coming in the house for the next few months.

I hate when it rains….then snows….because on a farm that spells MUD!  But at least it’s about to be warm so maybe the moisture will evaporate quickly.

Durham County Animal Control is finally in the new building…and I love my new office!

I really need a new cell phone - but can’t get one yet.  Boy have I put this one through the ringer including 2 complete submersions in water troughs.  Then again - this phone is like a TIMEX….

I have really fallen in love with my Ipod Nano.

I really wish employed people would appreciate their jobs….especially when there are so many UNemployed people who would jump at the chance to have their job.

I’m excited about the choices someone special in my life is making…including choosing God and serving.

I’m proud of my Dougie - cuz she is working her butt off and I hope she knows how appreciated she is (and that other people don’t fail to tell her).

My heart hurts for people around me who are struggling with health issues…and I pray that God will be merciful and give them the peace of his unfailing love.

I’m grateful for the NHC youth and the time I get to spend with them.  They are awesome and special.

I am shocked at the arrest of someone I’m familiar with locally for a heinous crime committed against an elderly woman.

Taira is getting a new bedroom - and I am getting more space in my room.  FINALLY!  We’re on night 3 of her sleeping in her own space.

Someone got me a new thermos and travel coffee mug and I think it’s cool that 8:00AM coffee is still pretty darned warm at 4:30 in the afternoon.

It’s nice to have someone who wants to take care of me…I just have to learn to let him.

Huge budget cuts at work - may not be an Atlantic Beach trip for me this year…so I’ll have to go indepenedently. LOL!

People should not have 200 pound chimps for pets.  Nuff said!

People need to learn to appreciate EVERY day that’s given to them….good or bad they are blessings.

I was closerthanthis to high speed internet being available in my neck of the stix.  But alas it is not so.  Obama promised that right?  I guess I’ll wait on him.

I had to buy a new washing machine and a new vacuum cleaner within the past 30 days….but at least I also got a new roundpen.

I miss spending time with the friends I don’t get to see much…but I still feel close to them just the same.

Watchmen comes out this week…and I’m going to see it (just not on opening day!)

I’m taking a random day off just to spend quality time with someone.

I’m really starting to understand Madea’s concept of people coming into your life to be a leaf, a branch or a root.  And that I’m supposed to appreciate all of them no matter which they turn out to be.

It’s been a year and 6 months since I’ve been going to NHC…and I’m still all in.

I’ve been bringing my lunch and mini-snacks to work to fight off the temptation of fast food…step 1 to my new 3 month weight loss goal.

Taira makes me laugh…where did my BABY go?

Time really DOES fly when you’re having fun…but boy does it drag when you aren’t!

There’s not enough time in some days for most people I know.  Even with Daylight Savings time kicking in.

No matter how many pens I start with on my desk…I usually end up with none.
